Wow, Isabel in Color has always been a dream of mine. Initially it started about being a blog for travel, then food, then travel again, and then this. I finally discovered something that I felt would help other people around the world, would help girls get through the tough times that I went through. If you haven’t already read up on my story, I recommend it! You may find that we have something in common, or maybe not, and that’s okay too. I think that we can all learn from each other and I’m positive there is something on this blog that will interesting to you! You may be wondering: “Okay, I get it. Your name is Isabel and you have a blog. What else?” To start from the beginning, I am a girl who has gone through many hardships when it came to friendships, bullying, and maintaining positive thoughts. I was physically bullied in fifth grade and the situation was twisted into how it was my fault and that the other girl could never do something so horrible. I was without friends through all of middle school, and completely isolated from people. Despite all of my efforts, I could never manage to make any friends, which I know now was due to jealousy. So, you could say, that parts of my life may be relatable to yours. And if they aren’t and are worse, I at least want to try to help you and be there for you as no one was there for me.

I started writing this blog in around June of 2022, however, it didn’t truly get published and out there until around February of 2023. It took me a long time to design the site and start adding blog posts and to figure out how in the world someone works with coding/graphic design/all the other things I had to learn.
