Hi there! I’m Isabel, a high school girl who wants to share this website with the world. Growing up, I had little friends and those I had, often left me to spend time with the “cooler” people or to become popular. During middle school, I felt 100% alone and often struggled with feeling like I didn’t fit in. Some of the girls who I had considered friends would go out of their ways to make me feel uncomfortable in situations with others, especially boys, at school. I decided to build this website in June of 2022 so I could help other girls who have survived or are surviving the same ordeals.

About me!
I am forever young. No, really. I will forever be young. But, I did go into high school in 2022 so that should give you an idea.
Yes! My mother was born in the Caribbean and then moved to the USA. My father was born in the USA so I am about 75% white and 25% a mix of things.
Okay, this question just makes me laugh because my go-to cool fact at summer camps is that I am trilingual. I can never think of anything for my “cool” fact so that’s what I say. But anyways, I am trilingual, I can speak English, Spanish, and Hindi. I would like to learn another language, maybe Korean, Japanese, Chinese, or all three! I’ll let you know if I accomplish this 🙂 !
You would be surprised by how many people ask me this. To be honest, I don’t know. I work hard, study for my tests, and then leave it at that.
No! Well, more like yes and no. Growing up, I was always excluded from the “popular” group but was able to become good friends with the boys in my grade. My first best friends were actually boys, so it has always been easier for me to build friendships with them. Historically, girls in my class have isolated me from the group. So really the answer would be yes for the boys and no for the girls.
Yes! I’m able to roll my tongue into three sections so it kind of looks like a flower. I have been told by many that it looks more like a mushroom but I just don’t see it.
I decided to start this blog in May of 2022. I started building it in May and it took four months to create.
Nothing, absolutely nothing. I find that if I feel dislike for something or someone rather than hatred, I am able to let go/forgive much easier.
I love the outdoors, traveling (check out Travel In Color, link: travelincolor.org), eating good food, matcha lattes, the beach, and of course, my mother. My mom is like my best friend so obviously she had to make it on the list!
A surprise fact about me. Hmmmmm. I really had to think about this one when I was writing it, I have no surprise facts about me besides that I’m trilingual. Which, sadly, I already told you 🙁 ! So my second best surprise fact about me is that I am severely obsessed with shopping.
